Hi!
lintian could warn us about the usage of "DEB_AUTO_UPDATE_DEBIAN_CONTROL = yes"
inside debian/rules.
Since it's a serious violation (the second item at
http://ftp-master.debian.org/REJECT-FAQ.html) and FTP-masters will reject the
package, it seems good to have a test for this.
