Bug#547773: lintian: wrong “weak-library-dev-dependency” error?

Package: lintian
Version: 2.2.16
Severity: normal

Hi,

trying to run lintian on evolution-data-server_2.28.0-1_amd64.changes I get
weird errors:

corsac@hidalgo: lintian -i evolution-data-server_2.28.0-1_amd64.changes
E: evolution-data-server source: weak-library-dev-dependency libcamel1.2-dev on libedataserver1.2-dev
N:
N: The given package appears to be a shared library -dev package, but the
N: dependency on what seems to be a corresponding shared library package
N: does not force the same package version. To ensure that compiling and
N: linking works properly, and that the symlinks in the -dev package point
N: to the correct files in the shared library package, a -dev package
N: should normally depend on the exact same version of the shared library
N: package.
N:
N: Refer to Debian Policy Manual section 8.5 (Dependencies between the
N: packages of the same library) for details.

E: evolution-data-server source: weak-library-dev-dependency libedata-cal1.2-dev on libebackend1.2-dev
N: 17 tags overridden (2 errors, 15 warnings)

libcamel1.2-dev and libedataserver1.2-dev (and following examples) are not
the same library and both are -dev packages so I don't think the error is
accurate.

Is there a problem in lintian or am I missing something?

Cheers,
