Bug#546524: [checks/scripts] also cover logrotate rules on script-calls-init-script-directly check
Package: lintian
Version: 2.2.14
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
After investigating the reasons of daemon "automagically" being started when I
have disabled it on /etc/rc*.d I noticed that its /etc/logrotate.d rule was
calling the init script directly, leading to the start of the daemon.
The current script-calls-init-script-directly check looks for the shebang of a
shell interpreter and skips the files that don't match. I will later provide
a patch for this check.
Cheers,
