Hi,

Attached is an mbox containing the patches implementing the feature. 
I suggested this feature the other day as a way to be able to test 
the --pedantic tags, which was Russ' concerns.

Given the results[1] of the "basic" test I added to test this new feature of 
runtests I think it would be wise to add a similar test for every check (of 
course adding a test for every CLI option would be better).

[1] The missing "use Utils" and "Needs-Info: source-control-data".
