Package: lintian Version: 2.3.0 Severity: normal Hi, I just experienced a spurious lintian warning (watch file missing) on a newly created local native package with version (0.0.1). The warning disappears if I add a second revision (0.0.2) to debian/changelog, so native detection does not work for either (0.0.1) or the initial release of a native package (exactly one entry in debian/changelog). (Also happens with lintian 2.2.18 in testing.) Andreas Beckmann <debian@abeckmann.de> writes: > But shouldn't there be a lintian check like > package-has-native-version-number-and-orig-tar-gz to catch this case? There indeed should be. We have a check for the other way around, but not one for that case. I'll add one. Thanks! -- Russ Allbery (rra@debian.org) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/>
