Thanks for the explanation, I thought that Lintian had only ties with the
Policy. I will eventually question on a broader audience discussion list the
necessity of listing the authors name if they do not hold the copyright. I am a
bit unsure what is the exact question that was asked by Debian to the SPI
lawyers about copyright statements, so to save time and effort it is probably
better to wait for their answer first.
