Bug#532013: Treats amd64 kernel modules on i386 as an error
Package: lintian
Version: 2.2.9
Severity: normal
Debian supports a 64-bit kernel and 32-bit userland on x86. This means
there are linux-image-*-amd64 packages for i386 that contain amd64 binaries.
lintian reports a huge number of error for these packages:
Please change the rule for "binary-from-other-architecture" to allow amd64
binaries under /lib/modules/*-amd64 on i386.
Ben.
