Bug#514641: lintian: can't check packages from a different directory (regression in 2.2.3)
Package: lintian
Version: 2.2.3
Severity: normal
Hi,
This is the output I get with 2.2.2:
$ lintian ../xserver-xorg-video-i128_1.3.1-2_amd64.changes
W: xserver-xorg-video-i128 source: out-of-date-standards-version 3.7.3 (current is 3.8.0)
W: xserver-xorg-video-i128 source: patch-system-but-direct-changes-in-diff ChangeLog and 1 more
and with 2.2.3:
$ lintian ../xserver-xorg-video-i128_1.3.1-2_amd64.changes
internal error: could not find the source tarball
warning: could not unpack package to desired level: Illegal seek
warning: skipping check of source package xserver-xorg-video-i128
Please fix :)
Thanks for your work on lintian!
Cheers,
Julien
