Oops - I assume I introduced this during one of the merges from
checkbashisms, possibly a while ago; sorry about that.

This is now fixed and tested against tcpquota (and corresponding changes
applied to checkbashisms as, although it wasn't producing errors, the
bug was causing some issues to be missed there).
