Bug#464992: lintian: Copyright false positive

Greetings,
My package petsc is flagged by the copyright-without-copyright-notice
check, but has the following line in its copyright file:
(C) COPYRIGHT 1995-2004 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO
This is a false positive, as this line seems to satisfy all of the
requirements: copyright, date, holder. Is the check case-sensitive such
that it misses the all-caps COPYRIGHT?
