Bug#462194: NMU check fails for unicode (UTF-8) name
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.42
Severity: normal

Hi
I'm sure it did not happen earlier, but now lintian complains that I'm
making NMU (changelog-should-mention-nmu and
source-nmu-has-incorrect-version-number). After adding some debugging
print calls into the check, I found out that getfield("maintainer")
returns comehow mangled name so it does not match utf-8 name the check
reads from changelog.
