Okay, I poked at this some more and a bunch of the noise was due to a bug
in the lintian check leading it to not check desktop entries of an unknown
type. I've now fixed that, which should help a lot.
The kruler applnk desktop file still will produce errors, but it still
looks rather broken to me.
It may be that going forward, we'll have to have a blessed list of
directories in which desktop files should be checked and ignore any
outside those directories, but let's see how matters go with the next
upload. It should be quite a bit better and at least reduce the problem
to a dull roar.
