Bug#431259: lintian: bogus `maintainer-script-removes-device-files' error
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.32
Severity: minor
> lintian man2html_1.6e-2_i386.changes
E: man2html: maintainer-script-removes-device-files prerm:7
Whereas the 7th line of the prerm script is:
rm -f /var/cache/man2html/* > /dev/null
Lintian is wrong, a device file is being redirected to, not
removed (however the redirection isn't probably needed at all,
so I'm going to get rid of it)
Best Regards,
robert
