Bug#378054: lintian: should provide more detail about binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.22
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
Currently the information lintian-info provides about
binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath is:
"Please contact debian-devel@lists.debian.org if you have questions
about this."
It would be helpful if it instead/also referenced some online
documentation explaining the issue. The doc referenced by
http://ftp-master.debian.org/REJECT-FAQ.html is:
http://wiki.debian.org/RpathIssue
which appears to be reasonably helpful in this case.
