Package: lintian Version: 1.23.8 Severity: important Hi, I have a problem with the handling of symlinks. I have to symlinks which points to a manpage so the user is able to call the same manpage with different names. lintian complains about the names of the symlinks because they don't end with .gz. I tried to rename them to .gz but then I get this: E: mutt-ng: manpage-not-compressed-with-gzip usr/share/man/man1/muttngbug.1.gz E: mutt-ng: empty-manual-page usr/share/man/man1/muttngbug.1.gz It seems to be a bug. Sorry, I don't have the time to look at the lintian source.
