Bug#255155: lintian: issues spurious menu-command-not-in-package warnings if command in /usr/bin/X11
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.0
Severity: normal
Lintian should not complain about a menu command not being in the
package if the command is located in /usr/bin/X11. This directory is
part of the standard command search path:
$ cat /etc/login.defs
[...]
# *REQUIRED* The default PATH settings, for superuser and normal users.
#
# (they are minimal, add the rest in the shell startup files)
ENV_SUPATH PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin
ENV_PATH PATH=/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games
