Bug#255083: complains about executable EXE files
Package: lintian
Version: 1.23.0
Severity: minor
Hello,
currently lintian complains about every executable file outside of the
default .../bin locations. However, the .NET executables are stored
outside (in /usr/share/... since they contain portable bytecode). The
files are normaly executed via a wrapper but can also be started
directly as applications (thanks to binfmt-misc).
So could you disable this warning for .exe files please?
Eduard.
