tags 252683 = woody
thanks

(note to Frank: the lintian version is a hint that this is about woody)

The problem is in woody's version of debiandoc-sgml: it doesn't provide
a working debiandoc2html out of the box. This is a bug in debiandoc-sgml
or one of the depending packages (the docbook-xml package it seems).

Note that jade is not required when building lintian on Sarge.

[jeroen@richard]~$ cat /etc/debian_version
3.0
[jeroen@richard]~$ nsgmls /dev/null
nsgmls:/etc/sgml/docbook-xml.cat:8:8:E: cannot open "/usr/share/sgml/docbook/dtd/xml/4.2/docbook.cat" (No such file or directory)
nsgmls:/dev/null:1:0:E: end of document in prolog
[jeroen@richard]~$

I think this was fixed in docbook-xml version 4.2-8

Since this bug is in a woody package, and that bug was already fixed
there, I'm closing this bug.

Note: we take care that the offician lintian packages uploaded to
sarge/sid work without any changes on woody systems too, so no need to
build them on woody. As a workaround, install jade seems to work as you
noted.
