CVS directories in source packages
Hi!
I use upstream CVS repositories to fetch the sources of a couple of my
packages (rosegarden4 and freqtweak).
I like to leave all those CVS files/directories in the source package,
since they point to a public and active repository, and some users can
take advantage of that (In fact, it took some effort to make this
possible, since I use my own private CVS repository to keep track of
the debian-related changes). As far as I can see, there is nothing in
policy against this.
Still, lintian gives a source-contains-CVS-dir warning when I check
them.
I think I should go ahead and write an override file for this check in
those packages.
Is this ok with you?
Enrique.
