Lintian bug squashing week (or more?)

Hi,

A little research showed that actually redo'ing subversion history after
you've imported a CVS tree is very easy. So there is nothing stopping
anybody from fixing any bugs in lintian.

Let's squash some bugs then.

I've added a little post-commit hook to the subversion server so that
bugs that - with the usual changelog syntax in the svn log message - are
marked closed (like Frank Lichtenheld already did) will automagically be
tagged pending.

The easiest bugs to solve are those that have already a patch with them.
Please remember what Josip said: add tests when/if needed.

For who missed it, in
http://lists.debian.org/debian-lint-maint/2004/debian-lint-maint-200401/msg00014.html
you can find details about getting a (temporary, will eventually be
moved to alioth once that's easy enough to do) subversion account.

Note that this will probably not become a NMU but a regular maintainer
upload, as Josip can probably find the time to upload from subversion.

If anyone wants to merely help by triaging bugs, that can also be a
great deal of help (with 140 bugs currently...). For example, tag bugs
'confirmed' when they are quite valid, and indeed should be fixed, and a
fix would be feasable. People wanting to hack on bugs can then easily
find those bugs not having 'patch', without the need to search for
doable bugs.

Hope this helps dropping down the lintian bugnumber significantly,
--Jeroen
