Project name: Case Reporter Built on: Debian/PHP/Mysql/Apache Although the name may be slightly deceptive, this project can simply be characterized as an information management system for lawyers with a specific focus on client management.
Does this overlap with Etude or Mozart (both also in PHP) which are referenced at http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-lex/software.html? Any chance of collaboration and/or amalgamation between these projects? What seems to happen is that a project is developed by a champion and then languishes when he/she leaves the project. If there was some consolidation of PHP-based legal software, it might develop more of a critical mass and thereby be better supported by the community.
