Hello,

we currently run 6 HPC cluster based on Debian/wheezy and torque.

In Wheezy, torque is currently at 2.4.16 (as well as in unstable)
which is dated July 27 2011 according to the website.

The Torque website [0] states that 4.2.6.1 is available.

There are 2 bugs concerning "new version available", 614359, 641484.

Reading 641484, is see that upstream is basically offering help and
willing to cooperate to get a recent version of torque in Debian, but
the communication somehome stopped, probably due to different
interpretation of the license for torque.

mlang also tried to contact the torque maintainer ~ 2 weeks ago, with
no reply until now.

I'd now kindly ask this list to take a look on the license file [1]
(only 84 lines :-) ) and tell me if this license prohibits packaging
torque 4.2.6.1 for Debian, which we are otherwise planning to do.

Thank you in advance.

Simon
