Whatever license is chosen, I would also recommend using a FONTLOG to
talk about the history of the project and the dedication to the Marathi
author as they are rarely removed by package maintainers:

And a quick look at the NAME table of the ttf files show that the info
isn't there. With the work going on to expose more of that metadata I
would also highly recommend they use these dedicated fields (description
and others) to mention the dedication.
