Yes, because GPL article 1 has a corresponding requirement.
So there is no conflict in licensing terms, and therefore
you can release the whole under the GPLv2 license terms.
I don't see any such requirement in GPLv2[1] article 1:

I don't see there anything which says anything like BSD[2] clause 3:

Is there a good reason why this isn't considered an additional restriction?
