If you're giving a poll worker (or any similar usage - a kiosk, a point-of-sale terminal, etc) a machine, and they have to do that, you're doing something Very Wrong. If it requires any more intelligence than "turn it on, if a big RED circle comes up, yell for help, if a big GREEN square with a check box comes up, you're ready to go", you've failed your class in GUI Design 101. ;)
