Re: licenses in slib
I'll take a stab at it, but I suspect (although I would ask the FSF
lawyers for specifics), that the problem is the way the rights are
granted. The line:
;Permission to copy this software, to redistribute it, and to use it
;for any purpose is granted, subject to the following restrictions and
;understandings.

does not explicitly grant the right to redistribute modified works. My
guess would be the best (given the rest of the license) would be either
the new BSD or the X license.
