In fact, the last version I have only support VBR... that's a trouble
for me since I would like to use it in software that need to change
the speed (of speach stream), which VBR encoding make it quite difficult
to achieve with a good quality.

However, my entire collection of MP3 was entirely convert to OGG Vorbis.
Same quality from my SBLive! but a gain of 10% of disk space :) A little
more of CPU however, compare to mpg123, and no fixpoint like splay for
the StrongArm architecture.
