Re: Wireless on Acer Aspire E-15
Hi Dave,
I have the following and it works with the broadcom-sta-dkms package:
[ 12.186138] wlan0: Broadcom BCM43a0 802.11 Hybrid Wireless
Controller 6.30.223.271 (r587334)
[ 12.344832] wl 0000:03:00.0 wlp3s0: renamed from wlan0
This is a newer MacBook Air (2014 or 2015) and it works with both
Jessie and Stretch.
I use a sitecom USB wired lan adapter to do the full installation and
then install broadcom-sta-dkms to get the Wireless working, this is a
lot easier compared to CentOS or RHEL (I tried them once it it took a
lot more mwork to get it woring under those distro's).
I hope this helps
