Try this in /ets/default/grub

"GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= quiet splash acpi_osi=Linux
i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 i915.i915_enable_fbc=1 ".

Probably your proc would also take benefit from "i915.lvds_downclock=1"
then: "sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg" 

When searching with key-word "i915.i915_enable_rc6=1" you'll find a lot
of stuff, for example:
