Re: Lenny with Atheros AR522/AR5213 Chipset

Hi,
I'm trying to install Wicd on a Thinkpad T60 running Debian etch.
I added apt.wicd.net to my sources.list and tried apt-get update, and got this error:

W: Couldn't stat source package list http://apt.wicd.net etch/extras Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/apt.wicd.net_dists_etch_extras_binary-i386_Packages) - stat (2 No such file or directory)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

What does this mean?  The same error appears when I try apt-get install wicd.

thanks, Heather

To address the problem if it is caused by NM or ath5k driver, you can
just boot into non-X mode.
