I would like to suggest trying out "grandr", which is a graphical front-end for xrandr.   I have also used "arandr", which is another graphical front-end, but it seems it is not available yet on lenny.

After some time I will sort
it out, I think.

I started using Debian already
during the times of 2.1 Slink.
Many nights spent trying
to solve various problems.

Sometimes getting tired.
So many other things to do.

Computers is not exactly my field.
