Linux TIFM driver
Using a Sony VGN-FS315 laptop, I have some questions about the tifm driver used to drive the memory stick reader. Upon insertion of a memory stick into the slot, the kernel responds:
tifm_core: MemoryStick card detected in socket 0:1
Presumably a second module will be required to create a block device for mounting. lsmod shows the tifm_core, tifm_sd and tifm_7xx1 modules are loaded. Is there an equivalent for the MemoryStick, or any other known way of convincing the driver to attach the card to a block device?
