even if someone owns a similar/same model its a risk. vendors are known to
change the hardware in the models and keep the name the same.

so if you want helpful answers you should provide the list with an component
guide, intel/nvdia/ati? which wlan chipset? which cpu..

of if you can do an 'lspci', there also similar tools for windows so there
isn't even a need to boot linux cd on those machines.
