that's for an older kernel and with an older version of xfree86 (not xorg) but 
perhaps it will give you some ideas as to what to try.

(yes, that's my own bug report and no I've not tested it with recent 
kernels.... the improvements in suspend-to-disk have made it usable enough 
and I don't have time to rebuild my laptop some stupid driver goes titsup)
