first of all thank you very much for answering my email. As you said,
i
installed the linux headers for my version (its the "2.4.27-2-386").
After that the driver for nvidia was installed successfully!
But i can see that my problem is more complex than that. I thought
that
after installing the new drivers i could have the xserver running,
instead of that i get the following message:

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log".

You need the kernel headers corresponding to your installed kernel
for
the Nvidia driver to compile their driver.
