BenQ DC E300 as a web camera

Dear all,

Though it is not a pure laptop issue I decided you post is here because
you have a great experience with making various hardware work for Linux.

I have a BenQ DC E300 digital camera

It is a simple camera but works well.

Recently I have found out that it can also work a web camera (this
feature is not mentioned on the page I gave you link above).

Did anyone succeed with making this web camera work for Linux?
