I would be easier if you told what your speed is...
It all depends on how old and etc, my Asus M6Ne with a 60 gb, 8 mb
cache 100ata drive is:
# hdparm -tT /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
Timing cached reads: 2632 MB in 2.00 seconds = 1314.88 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 90 MB in 3.03 seconds = 29.73 MB/sec
I dont think i can get i much higher..
