No harddisk on Toshiba Satellite M40X-112 with sarge
Hello everyone,
I have a big Problmen with installing Debain sarge on my Toshiba
Satellite M40X-112 Laptop. In the installation process the harddisk can
not be found. I logged on to the console to mount it manually, but could
not find the hdd.
When I try to install etch (testing), I can find an entry under
/dev/discs/<forgotten>/disc (that points to /dev/scsi/disc/ with entries
disc, part1, part2 part3 and part4). I have 4 Partitions on my hdd, that
could be it. But under etch the dvd drive can not be found.
Can anybody help me with this please?
