kernel 2.6.14 with initramfs

Hi,

I'm trying to compile the Debian 2.6.14 linux kernel with some extra patches
(suspend2, reiser4...). I'm using initramfs-tools for generation of the
initrd image. I've added proper suspend2 sripts and hooks
into /etc/mkinitramfs too.

The kernel gets installed fine but when I try to boot with the kernel it
fails while trying to mount:
/dev/mapper/lnx-root to /root

and everything after that fails. I checked the /etc/initramfs folder and
found nothing but only my scripts and the config files.

Is this a known issue ? How do I fix it ?

Thanks,

rrs
