Hey all, Has anyone been able to get around the excessive power drain on a Thinkpad when using suspend to ram? The problem is documented on ThinkWiki at this page: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Problem_with_high_power_drain_in_ACPI_sleep I am running Sarge with a custom 2.6.12 kernel using the linux-source package from Sid. I have applied the patch mentioned on the page above, compiled radeonfb directly into the kernel and set "video=radeonfb" as a kernel parameter in grub. The Ethernet interface is off, so wake-on-lan should not be a problem. Unfortunately, the battery is still draining 10% per hour in S3 suspend. Has anyone been successful in fixing this problem? Thanks, -- Bill Thompson BillT@Mahagonny.com
