Hello Everybody,

These are the settings of my hard drive on my Compaq Presario 2203AL
notebook running Debian Testing + Unstable:

laptop:~# hdparm /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 multcount    =  0 (off)
 IO_support   =  0 (default 16-bit)
 unmaskirq    =  0 (off)
 using_dma    =  1 (on)
 keepsettings =  0 (off)
 readonly     =  0 (off)
 readahead    = 256 (on)
 geometry     = 16383/255/63, sectors = 58605120, start = 0

Is it better to use multcount, unmaskirq and IO_support in 32-bit ?

rrs
