Its a custom built 2.6.8 kernel (ACPI built into kernel, not modules),

i tried using one of those stock 2.6.9 kernels from kernel.org but they 
didnt play well with debian somehow, so i stuck with the newest kernel 
debian testing gave me (2.6.8)
