TuxMobil News 07/2004


    the TuxMobil News digest for July 2004[1] has good news
    for Linux PDA, mobile phone, laptop and notebook users. Here is an

|=| This is the month of Linux ports and tools for portable media
    players. LinuxDevices mentioned that Linux has been ported to
    the Archos Portable MultiMedia Player[2]. A new issue of gnuPod,
    a set of tools to use your iPod under Linux and other UNIXes (0.95)[3]
    has been released. Alternatively you may use the new version of
    gtkpod a platform-independent GUI for Apple's iPod, using GTK2
    (0.80-2)[4]. NomadSync (0.2)[5] keeps MP3s on your Creative
    Nomad Jukebox synchronised. cpShuffleSature copies music,
    pictures, or films onto portable hardware devices (20040728)[6].
