Hello ,
I have a problem with cups. I updated Debian testing some time ago and
since then CUPS seems not to work any more. Installed are the
following packages:
Pfau:~# dpkg -l cup*
||/ Name Version Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================
pn cup <none> (no description available)
un cups <none> (no description available)
ii cupsomatic-ppd 20040102-1 linuxprinting.org printer support -
transiti
ii cupsys 1.1.20final-13 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - server
ii cupsys-bsd 1.1.20final-13 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) -
BSD comman
ii cupsys-client 1.1.20final-13 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) -
client pro
pn cupsys-driver- <none> (no description available)
pn cupsys-pstoras <none> (no description available)
un cupsys-pt <none> (no description available)
Befor the update (in stable) cups was working. Now the print jobs are
imediately canceled and if I try to restart, I get
Error:
~ client-error-not-possible
in the cups-interface. Zhis means of course, that cupsd is working and
that I get response on http://localhost:631/
I don`t know, what has changed during the update. Ar ethere any
ideas/hints to cure this?
Thank you,
