yes! works fine in kernel 2.4.18

have mousedev installed, usbmouse seems to be sticking in my modules as 
have done several kernel recompiles and although it appears to have 
vanished from modconf. if i do lsmod it appears but is unused.

I have done modprobe -r usbmouse & restarted x but does not seem to help.
