RE: IRQ Conflicts on Compaq Evo N1015v



to fix IRQ conflicts you need ACPI patches from http://sf.net/projects/acpi/
and for the trident hang you need a fix which is in the kernel starting from
2.4.21-pre3 ; your laptop seems to be very similar to presario 900 so I
suggest you look at the following resources (you can find some prebuilt
kernels which should work for you there too):
