The model isn't listed in linux-laptop.net yet, so it's probably so new
that nobody has written up their personal page about getting theirs
going.  However, a huge variety of HP hardware is happy in Linux.

If you haven't already bought one, find out what its sound chipset is.
If you're looking at this in your local computing or electronics store,
it can be seen in the mswin Control Panel, under System, then one of the
tabs lists all the devices.  Dif't varieties of mswin may name the tabs 
slightly different things or make it worth tweaking a radio button too.
But once you know the sound chipset, you can ask again with that, and we
can answer with more certainty.

The usual problems with sound support come down to unsupported sound
chipsets (uncommon) and hardware resources - IRQ and DMA conflicts.
The latter are usually quickly solvable once you determine which values
all of your hardware should be using.
