XFree86 and NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

Hey all,

I'm trying to get X up and running on my Hi-Grade Notino with Debian unstable (Sid) - kernel 2.6.0-test9, and am not having much luck. I've got an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200, when I use startx I get the following. It seems to recognise my NVidia card, but then says that "no devices were detected."

I used the patches from http://www.minion.de/nvidia.html I compiled the kernel the 'Debian way', and made sure to enable the TLS mechanism in /usr/bin/tls. I'm probably missing out something really obvious...

Package versions:
oasis:/var/log# dpkg -l *nvidia* | grep ^ii
ii nvidia-glx 1.0.4496-10 NVIDIA binary XFree86 4.x driver
ii nvidia-glx-dev 1.0.4496-10 NVIDIA binary XFree86 4.x driver development
ii nvidia-kernel- 1.0.4496-10+10 NVIDIA binary kernel module for Linux 2.6.0-
ii nvidia-kernel- 1.0.4496-7 NVIDIA binary kernel module common files
ii nvidia-kernel- 1.0.4496-10 NVIDIA binary kernel module source
oasis:/var/log# dpkg -l *xfree* | grep ^ii
ii xfree86-common 4.2.1-15 X Window System (XFree86) infrastructure
ii xserver-xfree8 4.2.1-14 the XFree86 X server

At boot it says the module is loaded, and lsmod confirms this:

nvidia: module license 'NVIDIA' taints kernel.
