So your guess is that it is not a linux realted issue but a BIOS/Hardware
one. About the BIOS upgrade I did that a month ago, at that time I didn't
have the cluster around so I didnt care much about the time the pcmcia was
going off. Anyway I'll google some more. Thanks for the answer.
