Re: Re:i830m

So what I figured out is, that the problem is the Virtual Screen size:
My laptop has an SXGA LCD display (1400x1050)

(--) I810(0): Virtual size is 1280x1024 (pitch 1024)

Where can I change this value to 1400x1050?

Thanks a lot - Herbert

I know neither your notebook nor the Intel drivers. Nevertheless, I run
a HP Omnibook XE3 GF (graphics chipset Intel i830M) with Debian Sarge
(XFree86 4.2.1) quite perfectly.

You could try to use the XFree86-driver explicitily by uninstalling the
Intel-one? (Since both use "i810" as the Driver this could overlap
somehow?)

I do not have the "VideoRam" section here...

These other resolutions besides "1400x1050" do work?

My XF86Config-4 can be found at

So long,
